Klarna Finance

Thinking of choosing finance?
Finance is a great way to spread the cost of your shed or summer house purchase. To make it easy we've teamed up with Klarna whose technology lets you apply for and complete the loan application quickly and easily.

Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of smooth payments to more than 170,000 online stores. Over 60 million consumers worldwide have already trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments.

If you would like to choose to pay by finance, the application form should only take a couple of minutes to complete and you'll receive an quick decision.

Information and payment plan options
You can spread the cost with fixed payments, using the best repayment method for you. There are 5 payment terms to choose from, to offer you flexibility with your repayments.

Choose between:
6 months or 12 months at 0% interest
24 months, 36 months or 48 months at 9.9% APR
No money will be taken until your loan has been approved by Klarna.

0% interest & 9.9% interest options:
Repayments are straightforward and easy to manage. Simply pay your monthly instalment by card through the Klarna app (it’s easy to set up regular direct debit payments from your bank account too), and you can also use the app if you want to settle your balance early.
A 10% deposit will be required as standard.

Example: Representative APR 9.9% APR with an assumed credit limit of £1,200 and a purchase rate of 9.9% p.a.

Your responsibility and risk
You are responsible for making the agreed repayments on time and in full. Making these repayments in full as agreed means you’ll be able to spread your payments across the time frame agreed – helping you get the building you want without having to pay up front.

Late or missing payments may have serious consequence for you and cause you serious money problems. Your credit rating may be affected which will make it more difficult to obtain credit in the future.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?
If you want to make a purchase with a Klarna Account you need to provide your mobile phone number and your email address as well as name, billing address and your date of birth. Your mobile number is required in case we need to reach you.

You will also need payment details for the 10% deposit Klarna require if accepted for credit.

All statements will be sent to your email address. It's very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise you will not receive monthly statements and so be liable for late payment fees.

How can I increase my change of being accepted?
Klarna is unique and offers finance options based on a number of factors such as the order value, previous order history and item availability. If you are 18 or over, you can improve your chances of being offered pay later terms by ensuring you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually. Just because you have had a loan before does not mean it will be offered for every order and in turn, as it is denied does not mean it will be denied for all future orders.

Will a credit search be made against me?
Similar to all traditional finance providers who offer products of this nature, with the customer’s consent a hard credit check is undertaken. There will be a record of the search on your credit file with the CRA. If you fail to pay on-time in accordance with the, the credit reference agencies are informed which may have an impact on their credit score.

Can I pay before the due date?
For 0% interest & 9.9% interest finance options you can also use the Klarna app if you want to settle your balance early.

Could my application be declined?
Applications can be declined for a whole host of reasons. Unfortunately, we are not given the reason why a customer is declined for a credit application. The authorisation process is carried out by the Klarna Bank AB and Tiger Sheds has no part in the decision.

If you wish to find out more please contact the Klarna Bank AB directly. Their details can be found in the email you will have received from Klarna Bank AB confirming the lending decision.

I have been asked to go to Klarna’s site. Is this correct?
If you have chosen to spread payments with 0% interest, or with 9.9% interest, through Klarna, they will send you an email with further details on how to pay.

Can I pay less than the amount owed each week?
If you are on a monthly payment agreement using Slice It (0% or 9.9% options) that payment must reach Klarna by the payment due date. This payment is the amount agreed to be paid to maintain your schedule on your Klarna Account. Should you pay less than this it will mean your remaining balance will be recalculated to account for the lower payment made.

Klarna will also report information to credit reference agencies about the payments you make, and about any payments that you fail to make on time. Late or missing repayments may have serious consequences for you and cause you serious money problems. Your credit rating may be affected which will make it more difficult or more expensive for you to obtain credit in the future.
